Why is it that a licensed beer koozie will sell better than an unlicensed one?  That is not an opinion, we all know that it is a fact.  In my experience, you can have a jar of bottle openers sitting on your counters and they will sell only when someone needs to open a bottle.  But put a licensed NFL bottle opener on the counter, and voila, you have sales.   Customers will buy a licensed bottle opener not because they need to open a bottle, but because they now see a need to buy based on their emotional connection to the home team.  This makes the retailer that stocks licensed products the ultimate winner.  With the NFL season almost upon us, now is the time to try licensed products for your store.  Most NFL or licensed products

sell for less than 10.00.  It is important to remember that in a C Store, products that retail over that 10.00 ceiling, generally do not sell.  Give licensed a try.  Your bottom line will thank you!
